About the Founder/Coach
Tracey Robar is the Author of "From My Kitchen" Gluten-Free cookbook, and the founder of New Beginnings Poultry and Ducks. An experienced educator, course creator, and Holistic Natural Health Practitioner & Health Coach specializing in chronic autoimmune conditions, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the Academy.
Since 2006, Tracey and her family have been farming and sharing their journey with others. Known in the community for her commitment to helping people become more self-reliant, she offers on-farm workshops, online courses, and an Academy that has guided thousands on their journey.
Each year, she and James also participate in Alberta Farm Days, educating the public on sustainable farming practices. Additionally, She also manages the marketing, website, and online presence for both the farm and the Academy, reaching and inspiring farmers daily.
About Your Other Coach
James Robar is the hands-on expert behind the scenes, skillfully managing most of the building, repair, and maintenance work that keeps their farm running smoothly. With a passion for sharing his experience, he leads classes in processing, packaging, and course creation, and also brings a valuable background in online marketing.
Each year, he and Tracey participate in Alberta Farm Days, where they open their farm to the community and share insights into self-sufficient living as well as conducting educational farm tours to teach those with a desire to know where their food comes from.
During James' downtime, you'll often find James sitting on a bucket in a pig pen giving their rare Mangalitsa pigs belly rubs! Alongside his full-time career in HVAC installation and services, he dedicates his energy and expertise to supporting their farm and the Academy, helping others on their path to self-reliance.
